Hello Nolte's!

I was just looking up my name in the search engine and I found your blog! I thought it was neat that your daughter and I share the same name. I am a 26 year old girl from Canada. I know Nolte is not a commom name, is your family orginally from Germany? That is were my grandparents are from! Anyways it would be neat hearing back from you! Your daughter is adorable by the way!

Natalie Nolte- the canadian one!!

We have been getting lots and lots of Christmas greetings but this is one of the most enjoyable and I don't even watch Office. Thank you very much. It looks like it was a lot of fun but it also must have been a lot of work.

Hello Steve

I found you blog on google which led me to the pronouncenames.com site. Very interesting. I left additional info there. Nolte is a German name and as such is pronounced "Nol-tah" there by the native speakers. But for some reason we have adopted the "Nol-tee" sound here. I for one might prefer to go back to the original way to say it. Go back to that website, I left a new entry there with a WAV file. By the way, my ancestors came from the Hannover, Germany area, and the name is till pretty common there. Many businesses in the area with the name and a street in Hannover with the name of Noltestrasse.

Take care

I believe it's crashing for numbers that translate to 13 character length roman numerals (or longer).

Your magic number, 2388 becomes mmccclxxxviii. A bigger number, 2390 works, but it's real short at mmcccxc.

3338 is a 13 character number, and it crashes chrome. 2888 is a 14 character number, and it also crashes it.
