Natalie  is yet again impressing everyone with her recovery.  She continues to increase her eating amounts and does a decent job nursing.  I love the chance to feed her with a bottle!

She did have a little set-back which we found out this morning.  There was an infection at the incision of the colostomy caused by stool around it.  They cleaned it up and started her on another antibiotic.  This will push back her date of departure, so now our goal is the end of the week to take her home.

We continue to praise and thank God for his amazing protection and guidance.  We are just so amazed by the wonderful people we have met, the things we’ve learned, and the care that has been given.  There is no doubt in our minds that Natalie will live a full life, and have the ability to praise and thank God for his grace!

    We continue to lift up in prayer little Natalie and you. In the wonder of her birth, the care of the staff, and the love of you her parents she has already touched so many hearts and brought praise and thanks for God’s gracious goodness. Thank you for sharing the pictures and news on this amazing site! She is a beautiful and precious child of God, and is blessed to have you as her caring and faithful parents.

    Be joyful in the Lord, all you lands;
    serve the Lord with gladness
    and come before his presence with a song,
    Know this: The Lord himself is God;
    he himself has made us, and we are his;
    we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
    Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and call upon his name.
    For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
    and his faithfulness endures from age to age.

    Again you are surrounded by prayer, and we give thanks for sharing the miracle of Natalie’s birth!
